The curriculum is expected to be aimed more at practical training tasks than to theoretical knowledge to develop
the required mentor competences. It is expected to consist of six modules and a number (3-5) of topics related to
each of the modules so as to make it adaptable to mentors specific need.
In compliance with the curriculum the fixed number of materials for modules with topics and the aims and
strategies of related competences development after which several examples of good practice and practical tasks
for training will follow.
IO3 - Design of CPD mentor training programme to be submitted for accreditation
The continuous professional development course for training mentors will be designed for a target group of
experienced teachers willing to act as supervisors for will-be-teachers during their pre-service teaching practice
and novice teachers after entering in-service teaching job at schools.
