The second LTTA was held in Eger. A total of 34 teachers from partner universities participated in the training, in line with the call for proposals. The 4-day long training was organized by the EKCU and held in the University building. The expert staff participating in the training event were mostly experienced university subject methodology teachers, who supervise teaching practice of students and have long-term communication with mentor teachers in primary and secondary schools, strong commitment to their work, willingness to learn and actively contribute to the success of the project outputs, as well as appropriate English knowledge.

On the first day of the training, Prof. Zdenka Gadusova presented the content and objectives of the MENTRA project and the results achieved. She briefly presented the training programme. Participants then filled in a questionnaire to help ensure the quality of the project. In the afternoon and evening, participants attended a cultural programme and a business dinner. The informal environment brought the expected results, participants got to know each other, which helped teamwork during the training.

The second day of the training was delivered by qualified EKCU staff. As regards the choice of training tasks, the trainers focused on the two modules of the textbook produced in the project. Thus, participants were trained in the topics Relationship between mentor and mentee and Supporting the development of student self-assessment and reflective thinking.

The third day of the training was held by colleagues from Novi Sad. The trainers trained participants through the Fundamentals of mentoring and the Process of professional socialization of novice teachers, the development of career identity modules.

On the fourth day, participants evaluated the training, gave their opinion of the training and the exercises presented. During the workshops they answered questions and worked in teams to develop solutions. They also filled in a new questionnaire to provide feedback on the results of the project, training activities and areas for improvement. This is part of the project quality assurance.

It can be concluded that a successful training was implemented during which the participants had a great time. They actively participated in the training. Professional contacts were deepened. Thanks to the training, the participants gained new knowledge, deepened their existing knowledge and prepared themselves for the training of mentor teachers. The result of the training event were 34 trained university teachers ready to deliver the CPD Mentor Training Programme after its accreditation in their respective universities and in this way the training event has contributed to the achievement of the overall project goals as well as to overall quality of the project outputs.
