The two-day transnational project meeting of the representatives of the project partners started with individual consultations related to vital issues of running the project by project partners with the project coordinator which was followed by a business diner organized by representatives of Eszterhazy Karoly Catholic University in Eger. During the dinner the implementation process of project results and future tasks designed in the project were discussed informally, which facilitated the smooth and successful continuation of the TPM and coordination of the project.
The official opening of the meeting took place the next day in the Líceum building The TPM was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy of the EKCU, Dr. habil Zoltán Szűts. Next, Dr. Zsolt Mogyorósi, the local project coordinator, welcomed the participants and gave a short presentation about the EKCU and Eger.
The first part of the working meeting of the project partners started with the reflections on the first training course of mentor trainers hold in Lednice in September 2022. Prof. Gadusova in her presentation summarized the achievements of the training and the monitoring team presented satisfaction of the event participants with the training. During the second part of the meeting the relevant representatives of the partners presented the implementation of the project results in multiplier events (E3 and E4) in Komárno (SK) and Eger (HU). After the presentations, the experiences were discussed and recommendations were provided to the project coordinator for the organisation of the final multiplier event (E5) in Slovakia in June 2023.
As an important element of the meeting was also an information about the current state of the art with the development of CPD training courses for mentors and their accreditation process. As the accreditation process in each partner country is very different, the project coordinator has designed it flexibly in the project application. During the meeting 2 partners have stated that they already successfully accredited the Mentor Training Course. 4 partners have been in the process of its development or accreditation. It has been agreed that one course of a minimum of 30 hours and a maximum of 60 hours per institution will be launched. The structure of the course can be flexible, it can be intensive or extensive course, online or face-to-face or combination of both. It is important that the accredited course includes innovation. The project coordinator asked the partners to send written documentation about the designed and accredited courses. As it is very country specific, the accreditation material does not need to be translated into English. The project coordinator pointed out that IO3 activities can be paid per person, according to the working days defined in the contract.
The meeting continued with planning the activities for the final stage of the project and discussion about the final multiplier event (E5) - the conference in Slovakia in June 2023. The meeting concluded with tasks related to quality assurance, project administration and the preparation of the final report documentation. As part of the quality assurance, a satisfaction questionnaire on the meeting was completed. These showed that all participants were very satisfied with the programme and content of the meeting. They felt that the presenters were well prepared, the presentations were substantive and useful and the technical background was adequate. Participants felt that they had a good time and were satisfied with the organisation. It can be stated that the meeting was productive. Many issues were clarified, future tasks and responsibilities were discussed. It was noted that the project is on schedule and is progressing successfully so far.
